The name AYAL ROSIN stands for a high-quality lighting collec- tion for object-, shop- and living areas, as well as for the desi- gner and proprietor of the enterprise. The main objects of the design philosophy are: clear strong stylistic idioms, concentra- tion on the substantial functionality, and the use of high-qua- lity material of optimal processing. An important sector of the creative work is the intense co-operation with architects and a close contact with the clients. It is the active exchange of crea- tive ideas that enables the achievement of new solutions. The lighting collection offers solutions to the various tasks in the object- and living-area fields. Besides the series collection in- troduced in the catalogue, AYAL ROSIN develops subject-related special constructions. In object- and living areas the lighting products distinguish themselves through their clear and unmi- stakeable image and functionality. Ayal Rosin started off with the knowledge and experience ob- tained during his academic years, studying industry- and trans- portations designs, as well as precision mechanics. Ayal Rosin´s exhibition debut was in 1996 at the Tendence in Frankfurt, ex- hibiting one sole product, the Show A4 wall lighting, the first of a thereafter rapidly growing collection. While the collection was constantly improved in view of functionality and aesthetics, Ayal Rosin also provided designs for other manufacturers. “As simple and clear as my designs are, the way to achieving the optimal shape proves sometimes difficult for my team and me, and remains a constant challenge. It is not only the struggle for the correct proportion to reflect the clarity and po- wer that I wish to achieve. Smooth handling in production and assembling as well as customer-friendly maintenance are just as important factors in the development.
